Malapascua Exotic Island Dive & Beach Resort

Malapascua Exotic Island Dive & Beach Resort

Pioneers of diving in Malapascua, we wouldn’t have had amazing experiences with the Thresher Sharks had it not been for the owners Dik and Cora setting up shop here.

Exotic is a very well run and organised resort, just by looking around you can see that things are quite a bit higher in quality than you would expect from a remote location.

The dive shop is slick in its operation; it needs to be as there are 6 dive boats to manage. You’ve no worries about missing out on a trip to Gato Island because there’s not enough divers to go there. Having said that, the operation is so well run and the dive boats are designed that you have your space, your not cramped or rushed, it’s your holiday and they’ll do their best to make sure it’s a great one.

Rooms are very spacious and well maintained, the deluxe would be our choice, but if you want something special, ask about the ‘Honeymoon suite’, it’s elevated and looks down directly onto the beach, with the palm trees, clear blue water, you get the picture….

The restaurant is excellent. Rarely do you see such a menu that when you see the pictures the food actually matches the image, here it does. The menu itself is almost a coffee table book in its own right. Cora is a superb photographer; she has done a brilliant job in photographing all the food on the menu. You won’t be losing weight at this resort.
