WW2 WRECKS GALORE

WW2 Wrecks Galore

With 12 Japanese World War II wrecks within recreational dive limits, Coron is an obvious place to visit for wreck divers. Most of the wrecks were sunk during an U.S. aerial attack on the Japanese Navy in September 1944.  Each wreck tells its own story so for those interested in wreck diving and historical sites, this is the trip for you.

Sangat Island Resort is perfectly located being only a few minutes boat ride to a majority of the wrecks. This means much less time travelling on dive boats all day and more time to relax at the Robinson Crusoe style resort with private beach. Being the only resort on the island and away from the mainland, on a clear night at Sangat Island the starry sky is magical.

With 30 dives included in this trip you will get to see quite a lot of the wrecks, but it will never be enough! Fortunately the wrecks aren’t going anywhere!
